Location. The High Country Inn is located on Banff's main avenue, two blocks from downtown, in the province of Alberta, Canada. Banff National Park Visitors Centre stands two blocks from this property, and skiers travel less than seven kilometers to reach Mt. Norquay's slopes.
Hotel Features. The inn serves complimentary continental breakfasts, daily, that consist of waffles, cereal, muffins, toast, fresh fruit and beverages. Ticino's boasts authentic alpine atmosphere, and specializes in chicken, beef, fish and fondue dishes. Corporate or social gatherings can be conducted at the inn's conference rooms which accommodate up to 120 people. Leisure pastimes include an indoor pool, spa tub and dry cedar sauna. Additional property amenities feature complimentary heated underground parking and 24 hour front desk services.
Guestrooms. This non smoking inn houses 70 guestrooms and suites, most with balcony views of Cascade, Sulphur or Tunnel Mountain. All accommodations feature private shower/bath combinations, mini fridges, coffeemakers and cable television. Executive Suites consist of two separate bedrooms, and the Honeymoon Suite features an electric fireplace, microwave oven and jetted, oversized tub. D�cor is contemporary in style with soft, earth toned accents. Dial up Internet is available in all rooms.
