Location. The family owned Hotel Het Gheestelic Hof is housed in a period town house with a Gothic fa�ade typical of Bruges and located 500 metres from the main railway station. The medieval Market Square is 300 metres from the hotel and the Lake of Love is 500 metres away. Bruges railway station is 500 metres from the hotel and Brussels Airport is 100 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 60 minutes.
Hotel Features. The hotel bar has parquet flooring and is furnished with rugs, heavy drapes and lacquered furniture. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served each morning in the breakfast room. Conference and meeting facilities are available and there is Internet access in public areas for a charge. Further amenities include a safe deposit box at the front desk, a dry cleaning service and nearby parking.
Restaurant Le Manoir Quatre Saisons at Hotel Het Gheestelic Hof serves Belgian and French cuisine in an elegant traditional setting complete with a cut glass chandelier. In good weather aperitifs and after dinner coffees can be taken on the terrace.
Guestrooms. The 11 guestrooms over three floors have simple furnishings including desks, co ordinated fabrics and fitted carpets. Expert Tip. The romantically titled Lake of Love, also called Lake Minnewater, is a beautiful man made lake, built in the 13th century; it once served as part of Bruge's outer harbour.

Getting there. The railway station can be found on the basement level, below the terminal building. Airport City Express trains to the city depart approximately every 10 30 minutes to Brussels' three main stations. Metered taxis are available outside the arrivals hall; licensed cabs have a yellow and blue emblem. The fare to the hotel will be around �150. De Lijn buses run also every 45 minutes to the city.
