The Golden Tulip Hotel de'Medici is housed in a converted brewery with a white crenellated fa�ade. It overlooks one of Bruge's major canals and is one kilometer from the city center. The 81 cheery guestrooms feature light d�cor with bright upholstery, wood furnishings and floral prints. All include high speed Internet connections, air conditioning, televisions with satellite channels, safes, trouser presses, and minibars. All bathrooms come with telephones and hairdryers.
The hotel houses a health center with ample fitness equipment, solarium, sauna, Turkish steam bath, massage room, and jetted spa; less energetic guests can relax with a drink at the bar with its leather armchairs and bar stool area. In the evening, the Koto Restaurant serves Japanese cuisine, including Sushi, Sashimi, Tempura and Teriyaki, prepared by chefs on traditional Teppan Yaki grill plates in full view of diners. Brussels International Airport is approximately 100 kilometers away. Brussels airport railway station can be found on the basement level, below the terminal building. Airport City Express trains to the city depart approximately every 15 minutes to Brussels Midi station. From there, trains leave every 30 minutes for Bruges (journey time less than one hour).
